<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Sed is obviously a very powerful command. With the inclusion of Sudo prior. would it matter a whole lot between Fedora and Debian if this command: --> <code>sudo sed -i s/UTC=yes/UTC=no/ /etc/default/rcS</code> <-- was inputed. Obviously /etc/default/rcS is where I open the file from via NANO or VI. Then as a Noob rcS is apparently the place to install the on/off with utc via CMOS?<br><br>Thanks! for your time <img src="https://a.gfx.ms/Emoji_0263A.png" alt="Emoji" class="Emoji$0263A$AAE RenderedEmoji"><div><hr id="stopSpelling">Date: Fri, 2 Jan 2015 21:25:46 -0600<br>From: chapinjeff@gmail.com<br>To: tclug-list@mn-linux.org<br>Subject: Re: [tclug-list] Bios clock and Linux UTC clock refuse to set at the same time.<br><br><div dir="ltr"><br><div class="ecxgmail_extra"><br><div class="ecxgmail_quote">On Fri, Jan 2, 2015 at 7:47 PM, paul g <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:pj.world@hotmail.com" target="_blank">pj.world@hotmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="ecxgmail_quote" style="border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex;">
