<p>Attention members, we have two meetings in early December:
<strong> </strong><em><b>A panel discussion on Home
Automation</b></em> (rescheduled) and a meeting co-hosted with Arrow
Electronics on <em><b>The Internet of Things</b></em>.</p>
<p>On <span tabindex="0" class=""><span class="">December 8th</span></span>, at the Southdale Library in Edina, MN, in the Helen
Young Room, <em><b>A Panel Discussion on Home Automation</b></em>.
There will be three IEEE panelists discussing how they implement

<p>On <span tabindex="0" class=""><span class="">December 11th</span></span> at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, in association with
Arrow Electronics, a day-long session on <em><b>The Internet of
Things--Immersions</b></em> where you will have an opportunity to learn
more about small embedded systems talking with a database to achieve
distributed data logging, process control, security and cloud
participation in distributed systems! </p>
<p>The Keynote speaker is Sam Schmidt. Arrow engineers joined forces
with the industry to modify a race car to be driven by individuals living
with quadriplegia. Join Indy Racing League legend, Sam Schmidt, for a
personal and moving story about how machine to machine (M2M) and the
latest in IoT technology helped put Sam back in the car and what it means
for the future of transportation.</p>
