You could literally dump ever frame that way and delete the ones
you don't want. I am sure there is a way to skips seconds too.

Open Shot video editor will allow you to import slideshow, then move
it to video track, move to frame you want to save, clip it, and move
to next photo. Seems there might be several clicks for each photo
image involved.<br>
