Right, I was asking what provider is that.<BR>
I would think it must be a relatively uncommon practice. I am guessing you're in an area with limited ISP choice?<BR>

In our area, you have to buy a business package and pay extra for a public IP. Home users only get nated connections.<BR>

To clarify, neither end would have a public IP. I use openvpn myself,
but the friend would probably not be willing to pay for a Internet
package with a public IP.
