I dismantled it and I'm 97% sure the problem is that one of the micro-solder beads connecting the jack to the board let go (I mean, I'm sure it broke, I'm 97% sure that's the issue with my headphones). Some Googling has led me to the conclusion that this is a common problem with my model. Is there anyone in the south mpls/midtown area that would be willing to put a drop of solder on this thing? I'd be more than willing to come to you and bring you a six-pack of your beverage of choice in recompense. (Hey, beats sending it to California).</p>
