I've got an HDD that I use as a backup-for-a-backup that seems to be shorted out.  When I give it power, whatever box its in will not turn on, and I'm pretty sure I toasted an enclosure.  This is all personal data, music and such, not something I'm at all willing to put money into recovering unless it's <$100.  Anyone have any luck with issues of this sort?
