Kinda OT here, maybe maybe not,<br><br>Here's the situation - <br><br>I have a brother-in-law that is serving the the military forces over seas.&nbsp; I have a sister-in-law and a niece that are here in the states.&nbsp; They have not seen each other in a long time.&nbsp; I'd like to set them up with a web cam interface where they can talk/see each other.&nbsp; He has a laptop with him (windows based I assume)
<br>&nbsp;and she has a home PC - also windows based.&nbsp; The y can call each other and talk, but I'd like to set them up with a way to at least see each other.<br><br>I have not dealt with web cams for a long time - and have no idea if they can just connect (stright IP connection) or if there needs to be some sort of broadcaster to manage connections.&nbsp; I'm willing to set up a server (linux based in my case) to facilitate their connections.
