Strangest thing. I can't run<br>$ gdesklets shell<br>through the terminal, I get "ORBit...missing" regardless of what I do. But<br>$gdesklets<br>to bring up the gnome interface works fine. Mysterious, but my desktop is halfway back to functional again. Thanks for all your help.
