Just looked up the specs for this scanner/printer <http://www.brother-usa.com/MFC/ModelDetail/4/MFCJ625DW/spec#.VWURkNJViko> This cannot scan 11x17 inches !! Only 8.5 x 17 or legal size which is 8.5 x 14 The scanning platen is only 8.5 x 17, and that is also the maximum paper handling size.
