Wendell, Would you have happen to install the SSH server package on this machine (#1 thing I do after install...). Are you able to tell if the machine is getting an IP through PING or some other network tool (nmap, logs, etc)? If these two items are yes, you might be able to SSH onto the system. The suggestions above about using the Ctrl+Alt+FX (X=1,2,3..6) doesn't yield a terminal window with a login prompt? Where in the cities are you located? I am in the south metro area and could help if need be.
