That "i thought we were in for life" was a joke. There are (at least) two ways to unsubscribe without bothering the list owner, Rick Tanner: 1) Go to bottom of page at http://mailman.mn-linux.org/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list and click on unsubscribe and edit options. Enter your email address and password.
