I have had the joy of about 20 years of *nix myself, starting with Minix on an original IBM XT. It has been the basis for half my career thus far, and I hope to have many more happy years with it's variants. For those interested, you can run some much older versions of ATT UNIX through the simh emulator for a glimpse of what has changed (and what hasn't). However, I've been fortunate enough to have taken Unix-like systems for a 25 year ride. If you are ever in the Bay, I highly recommend visiting the Computer History Museum: http://www.computerhistory.org/ That will give you more appreciation for this history. Back to lurking..........
