I've got all the remote controls disabled - the only config tool I use is the direct serial connection. (And I may be insufficiently paranoid, but I don't bother the password that.) I've got three PC's with hard-coded IP addresses, I believe I've turned off IPCP, there's not DHCP anywhere - I don't think it has any issues that affect me.
