I am not much of a Mandrake user (though I have a little used install on another partition of the box that I am using to type this), but the whole thing seems like a tempest in a teapot. If you have a problem with with a company making money from Linux, you shouldn't be using Mandrake anyway. Mandrake is a company that is trying to pull out of bankruptcy - if they can make a little money this way, great. It will be easy enough for anyone who cares to stop the ads after the install, so big deal. -- Jim Crumley |Twin Cities Linux Users Group Mailing List (TCLUG) crumley at fields.space.umn.edu |Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Ruthless Debian Zealot |http://www.mn-linux.org/ Never laugh at live dragons |Dmitry's free,Jon's next? http://faircopyright.org _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
