man pages were apparently not updated. when I typed the command incorrectly - all of the options, etc. were listed on the screen ... gee ... that would have been quicker and easier *laffs* I was able to get it to redirect without a problem rdesktop -u user -p password -g 1024x768 -r printer:DEC_PCL terminal.addy.com It somehow selected a driver on the other system, a test page did print (PS printer driver), but I went in and changed the driver to the one that was for the printer ... and it worked fine as well - or as least as good as it did before. Thanks for the patience with me ... I appreciate the help as I now have it working.
