Thursday, July 1, 2004 @ 10:57:33 AM Central Standard Time Are scripts that are put into cron.daily, cron.hourly, etc. run in alphabetical order?? For example, on a machine I run I have the following scripts in my cron.daily ----------------------------------------------------------- chkrootkit-runner* mirror-program-executer* slocate* jrliii-web-mirror* putty_mirror* updatedkjv-web-mirror* ldp_mirror_updater* rev-slack-book-mirror* logrotate* shep-chap-audio-mirror* ----------------------------------------------------------- When the time comes for the cron.daily scripts to run, would chkrootkit-runner be run first, and then updatedkjv-web-mirror be run last??
