Most mainboards these days come with features that allow you to watch things like cpu temp and whatnot, I suggest you take a look at these settings in your bios. If , after checking all the basics, you feel everything is set as it should be (whilst consulting the manual that came with your mainboard) try booting to a recovery disk of some sort. I suggest knoppix. If you are able to boot and run from a cd, this will bring the focus of the problem away from things like RAM/CPU/MB and the like and center your attention to the harddrives, or cable settings, or something silly you forgot to do. Has this current setup been know to work? Did you just recently addd any new hardware to this setup? > >Its going to take a 2 stroy drop in 4 hrs the count down has started > > PLEASE HELP SAVE A LIFE!!!!!! we can still kill it, lets just fix it first ;) > -- Linux Administrator || Technology Specialist || Wifi Engineer http://autonomous.tv/~spencer/resume/ || spencer at autonomous.tv Key fingerprint = 173B 8760 E59F DBF8 6FD2 68F8 ABA2 AB08 49C7 4754 -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
