I have an IBM De[sk|ath]Star 60GXP. Last night it finally bit the big one, it's making whining and clicking sounds on startup. Does the freezer trick work on standard IDE drives? Any other tricks I can try? The data stored on this thing is either backed up or mostly irrelevant, but if I could grab my /home/ partition I'd feel a bit better about it. -Brian _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
