The basic problem with utility programs that act like Palm's HotSync is
that most of 'em can't merge files.

I.e.: if file A on machine 1 has changed, but file A on machine 2
hasn't, you're okay.  But if file A on machine 1 has changed, and file A
on machine 2 has also changed (but with different changes), then a utility
that mimics the "hotsync" protocol probably won't do what you want it to.
