Personally I've used Paypal for a couple years and have found it to be an indispensable tool, especially when buying things on ebay. Before that, I had to do money orders and wait for that to get out to the person and all. Overall, I find paypal to be pretty secure, but watch out for emails that look official and try to get you to go to a false website and enter your information for "Security Purposes".
