I'm running a sendmail server, and every once in awhile I end up with files that look like: BOGUS.validusername.xom in /var/spool/mail. Not every user has one, but many users have both thier own mailbox and one of these BOGUS. boxes. cat'ing through them shows them to be valid mboxes.
