Thanks for the information, but the perldoc is huge, and I don't have time to learn everything. I found a few Config.pm and MyConfig.pm files, but nothing seemed to have a "installman1" or anything like it. Makefile.PL is used to build Makefile (it says "Writing Makefile for Digest::MD5") and then the make error appears. CPAN.pm: Going to build G/GA/GAAS/Digest-MD5-2.31.tar.gz Testing alignment requirements for U32... no restrictions Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Writing Makefile for Digest::MD5 Makefile:84: *** missing separator. Stop. /usr/bin/make -j3 -- NOT OK Any other ideas or pointers where to look?
