I'm looking for recommendations on a vhdl compiler and simulator under linux. I found FreeHDL, but I'd be willing to pay for one of the other environments if there is a commerical alternative for linux that is "best". My twist is that I'd like to simulate the hardware in software and write an application to that simulated-hardware. I've got vhdl code that compiles to a target piece of hardware. I'd like to use that same vhdl code and create a library(?) and header files(?) or some sort of simulated hardware thingie that I could code to so I don't have to be on the real hardware. -- Bob Tanner <tanner at real-time.com> | Phone : (952)943-8700 http://www.mn-linux.org, Minnesota, Linux | Fax : (952)943-8500 Key fingerprint = AB15 0BDF BCDE 4369 5B42 1973 7CF1 A709 2CC1 B288 _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-list at mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-list
