Sorry for responding sooner.

As far as I know from the research I did before, the onboard Gigabyte
Fasttrack controller chip is different than the PCI controller chip and is
not supported by Promise. Although it would be interesting to test and see
if these drivers would work with it. I was just wondering if there were any
opensource projects that anyone knew about for the onboard chip in the
vintage of the mainboards that I have.
