I removed the drives themselves, but not the controllers. It sounds reasonable (or as reasonable and anything Win* related sounds ;-) and it is something to try, so I thank you. I would, but I'd have to replace their "MLS" software with an easy & working Linux version and I don't have the time to write that right now. I think Minnesota's MLS people are going "webward", but I think they might also be requiring IE5. :-( We shall see... Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate them! Troy
