The red wire on the fan runs to the orange/yellow wire from the powersupply connector (12V) or the red wire if you want to run the fan at 5V. The black goes to the black, and the white is probably for a motherboard sensor, so it should not be hooked up to anything (unless you have a motherboard with a spare fan header).
