Look on the bright side, once you actually get past the Debian installer you'll never (in theory) have to touch it again. You can upgrade to the latest distribution without going through an upgrade installer or reinstalling, and you probally won't even have to reboot. Hurray for apt-get dist-upgrade :) | Andrew S.
