Work with overall product architect and the other engineering leads to

Responsible for the overall quality of their area and will review,
prioritize, plan and assign defects within their software products to be
fixed within the appropriate time frames.<br>

Responsible for integrating new team members whether they are employees,
local, or offshore contractors.<br>

Ensure that the team follows all formal and informal best practices in
software development Pearson VUE, include the CMMi and other initiatives.<br>
<br>
Develop design models from requirements models using class diagrams,
interaction diagrams, and other UML diagrams<br>
<br>
Develop business and requirements artifacts that effectively model the
customer's requirements using use cases, activity diagrams, and other UML
diagrams<br>
<br>
Understand and develop database Entity Relationship Diagrams. <br>
<br>
Perform object to relational mapping to support the database model in an
object oriented design<br>
<br>
Participate in requirements, design, and code reviews<br>
<br>
Write and execute unit tests<br>
<br>
Create and implement designs following Pearson coding standards<br>
<br>
Maintain and support mission-critical applications as necessary<br>
<br>
Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve
quality and pursue excellence<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Experience with Servlets/JSF/XML/JavaScript<br>
<br>
Experience developing business applications using SQL<br>

Experience with relational database systems<br>

Flex experience desired<br>

Tomcat/Java Web Services experience desired<br>

Understands the concepts of business objects, layered design, data access
