Monitor overall systems performance, capacity and utilization, makes and implements recommendations as necessary ? Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of computer technology, including hardware, software and data communications. Document department process and procedures *Skills and Experience Required*: ? BS/BA in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience(required) ? 1 - 2 years of Enterprise Linux systems administration experience (required) ? Shell programming experience (required) ? Level I certification of at least one vendor's Linux operating system (preferred) ? Scripting knowledge (PERL, shell) (required) ? Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and networking principles (preferred) ? Solid performance and troubleshooting skills (required) ? Ability to verbally present complex concepts and technical information to a non-technical audience in a clear and concise manner (required) ?
