From tor at flatebo.org Thu Jun 11 13:00:48 2009 From: tor at flatebo.org (Torleiv Flatebo) Date: Thu, 11 Jun 2009 13:00:48 -0500 Subject: [tclug-jobs] Support Engineer wanted Message-ID: <4A314650.8070009@flatebo.org> Have you worked in a fast-paced SaaS environment as a Support Engineer? Do you know of anyone that does? I am hiring a support engineer, and this person would need to have a variety of experience in different programming languages, systems level support, customer service and project management. I am looking for someone who can bring their own expertise and approaches to solving complex systems issues as well as performing project work to support existing customers (and some fun new development also). My group supports all production software at GovDelivery, riding on top of Oracle Enterprise in a very high transaction environment. We have software written in Java, Ruby, PHP, PL/SQL, perl and shell. Almost all of our production environment is in linux, so a person that is very comfortable with linux will fit in very well here. You can use vi _or_ emacs, your choice :) Job description: http://www.govdelivery.com/supportengineer.php Let me know ASAP if you have this type of experience (or know someone who does), and could adapt to this position. -- Torleiv Flatebo Software Maintenance and Support Manager GovDelivery, Inc. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
