Job description: Operating System and Hardware Engineer needed to perform web server system build-outs. Key Experience: * Operating systems builds. * Supporting OS. * Solaris 2.8 or 8. * Linux Red Hat Enterprise or any version. * Performing patch work and testing. * Middleware apps - Sun 1 or Apache. * Middleware installs * Performance monitoring - Openview preferred, dmc patrol would be good, Tivoli is fine, , any skill set nice. * Performance management background very good. * Any kind of skillset including dropping builds on a server remotely or multiple installs concurrently. * Hardware knowledge - IBM p series, IBM blade hs series, IBM x series. * SAN storage management a plus - Veritas VCS is a big plus. 3 years of current experience in web server installation and configuration is a must - both software and hardware.
