Position Statement: Internet Broadcasting Systems is looking for a qualified candidate to perform Systems Administration in a complex environment of high performance, high volume web serving. Essential Functions: * Primary responsibilities are administration of Linux servers and related applications. * Rotating on-call 24x7 support in system administration team. * Problem determination and resolution of tickets assigned by helpdesk. * * Qualifications & Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Required: * Five or more years of experience administering Unix servers required. * Two or more years of experience administering large Linux environment, preferably Redhat ES required. * Two or more years experience in a mission-critical, highly available environment. * Candidate must be competent in Perl and shell scripting languages. * * Knowledge of the following systems and protocols is preferred: * Cold fusion application servers. * Network Appliance storage network. * F5 BIG/ip load balancers * Firewalls * HTML, HTTP, DNS, NFS, CIFS, LDAP Job Specifications: * Job requires working on a personal computer for extended periods of time, an average of 7 hours per day. * Job requires work hours on evenings and weekends, providing support during sport events. * Job requires frequent communication via telephone, email and facsimile. * Job requires occasional travel for client meetings as needed.
