Job Title: Network Tech for Web Development Company Department: Tech Full-Time Position Internet Exposure is a Minneapolis Web Development Company specializing in database driven websites, custom applications, web marketing and hosting. Since 1995, we have been a Twin Cities leader in web development, search engine marketing and technical services. Team iE analyzes existing sites and offers both design and structural improvements. We also utilize search engine optimization and subscriber-based e-mail services increase traffic to websites and sales for our clients. http://www.iexposure.com We are currently seeking an additional Network Tech / System Administrator to join our growing company. As a part of our Tech Department, you will help maintain the internal network for Internet Exposure's hosting servers as well as support both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills. Not all skills listed below are collectively required but most are preferred. Schedule: 8-5 or 9-6 M-F Fexible hours, on call hours Location: Northeast Minneapolis What You Will Do • Configure and maintain software and hardware required to maintain a web hosting and ISP environment • Install and maintain of Microsoft Core Services to include Active Directory, Exchange, WINS and DNS • Constantly monitor network for malicious activity • Administer and maintain Enterprise backup solutions • Firewall configuration and maintenance to protect web servers and databases utilizing a multi-layered access control structure • Setup and support anti-virus protection utilizing Norton Anti-Virus Corporate Edition • Setup and maintain user authentication and data services through NIS, Samba, Active Directory and NFS • Install and setup data circuits • Help desk support for all offered services of Internet Exposure What You Need • Unix/Linux and Windows server background • Understanding of most of our server applications (Apache, MySQL, Enhydra, RADIUS, bind, postfix, POP3, IMAP, samba, dhcpd, IPSEC, ssh, IIS, MSSQL2000, Active Directory) • Knowledge of Cisco router configuration and maintenance • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills – Must be able to take apart and put together a computer system • Understanding of email, ip configuration, dialup setup and basic troubleshooting procedures • Understanding of routing, switching, bridging, sub netting, network troubleshooting and network topologies • Understanding of firewalls, user permissions and basic security procedures • Excellent customer service skills • Self motivation and organization • Ability to work independently or collaborate with a team We are looking for an individual interested in working with a small, exciting firm that offers growth potential.
