TCLUG, Some time ago I put out a request for instructors at ITT Technical College because I was unable to find the time to teach the classes myself that quarter. I got some great responses from the members here. I told the school that I could teach two classes this next quarter (starts right after Thanksgiving), but have just accepted a new position that requires a lot of travel. I will not be able to teach this quarter. I need to find one or two people who can teach evening classes at ITT Technical in Eden Prairie. Wednesday night is the IT-250 class - Introduction to Linux Using Red Hat 9. Monday night is a networking class - essentially the material a CCNA should know. That one is IT-320 - WAN Fundamentals. I was scheduled to teach these next quarter, but have just taken a new job that will keep me on the road much of the time visiting clients. The quarter begins the Monday after Thanksgiving. Each class is five hours long. 6-9 is lecture/discussion time. 9-11 is lab. There is a ten minute break each hour. Each class comes with an instructor CD that contains presentation material. You will need at least a Bachelor's degree. Pay is based on your degree and certifications. I don't know exactly how much, but it is decent pay and if you think you want to try a hand at teaching, can be a lot of fun. To recap, one or two instructors needed. Monday and Wednesday nights in Eden Prairie. You get to teach inquiring minds about Open Source and networks. It's a great opportunity to get some experience teaching and the pay isn't half bad either. Send me resumes or questions. I will forward them on to the IT dept. Chair at ITT Tech and he will schedule your interview. -- Jim Kaufman Linux Evangelist public key 0x6D802619 CCNA, CISSP# 65668
