From waynej at dccmn.com Wed May 12 19:53:00 2004 From: waynej at dccmn.com (Wayne Johnson) Date: Fri Jan 14 12:42:04 2005 Subject: [TCLUG-ANNOUNCE] Beginning Linux Classes Message-ID: <1209.192.1.1.23.1084409580.squirrel@dccmn.com> Heritage Christian Academy has been using Linux in several different applications, as a firewall, network gateway, web server, e-mail server, VPN, and even a database for both a production environment and for classes. We'd like to give back to the Linux community, by holding a set of Beginning Linux classes. This will including things like installing, configuring, and networking. Classes are on various Saturday mornings at Heritage Christian Academy's computer lab in Plymouth. There is no cost, but we would appreciate a donation if you feel the class was beneficial. This is something of an experiment, so it's likely to be very informal (although shirt and shoes are required). Further info can be found on the ACETT web site (http://www.acett.net/linux). _______________________________________________ Twin Cities Linux Users Group Announcements - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-announce mailing list tclug-announce@mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-announce From nassarmu at redconcepts.net Sun May 16 01:33:01 2004 From: nassarmu at redconcepts.net (nassarmu@redconcepts.net) Date: Fri Jan 14 12:42:04 2005 Subject: [TCLUG-ANNOUNCE] BeerMeetings canceled Message-ID: due to the lack of interest, there will no longer be tclug beermeetings. I had a great time at the beermeetings and it was a lot of fun meeting people in real life and being able to associate faces with names. Unfortunately it seems that people are no longer interested in these meetings and/or do not have the time for them anymore and as such and until more interest is shown i will no longer schedule beermeetings. -- Munir Nassar _______________________________________________ Twin Cities Linux Users Group Announcements - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota http://www.mn-linux.org tclug-announce mailing list tclug-announce@mn-linux.org https://mailman.real-time.com/mailman/listinfo/tclug-announce From djb at tc.umn.edu Tue May 18 23:09:31 2004 From: djb at tc.umn.edu (Dave Bianchi) Date: Fri Jan 14 12:42:04 2005 Subject: [TCLUG-ANNOUNCE] TCSA meeting May 20 Message-ID: The Twin Cities System Administrators (TCSA) group meets monthly to discuss topics of interest to system and network administrators in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
